Had to get a new freaking battery today! I've been needing to get a jump start here and there for a couple of weeks now. That sucked! I didn't leave my amp switch on this time either so guess I just needed another one. But O'Reillys put it in for me after standing around looking helpless. HaHa!

Post Pics! Don't be scurrd! gotpics LOL! J/Kn!

FINALLY!! 2009 or 2011 GT500, both get the job done. Basically just need to decide on interior/exterior wants.

2011 does have the Aluminum motor and SVTPP suspension (if wanted)...also has the updated interior and new SYNC System which is pretty cool.

BUT the 2009 still has all the performance under the hood that the newer one has...but doesnt have the updated interior or better electronics pack (IE Navagation, hands free voice control, etc). 2009 is def going to be cheaper...can be had for around 32k-35k with little to no miles.

2010s are going for around 40k give or take, paul picked his 2011 up on a scream'n deal...might keep a lookout for something like that.

All are nice... But I must say the 2011 is what I went with for the reasons Jarrod mentioned. I didn't want the older S197 because I didn't want to look at the same thing. Even though it's the same platform, they are much different cars. The Nav system is a must. It's just way too cool. I really wanted the SVTPP package as well, but the deal I got on mine, it was basically already done.

Thats why I think I will go with the 2011... I just need Paul to use his troll magic to find me a hell of a deal.... I don't want to spend more than 40-45 for a 2011... with the Nav and other cool bells and whistles

By November-December, when its time for him to purchase, I bet with the 2013s being announced and the 2012's being out for a while.... 40-45 will be more attainable then you think on the '11's
