I normally go to it. The wife use to cut Jim Leake's hair and thus I would get VIP tickets to the whole weekend (Steve's gone with me before). Since Jim died, I don't get the tickets anymore. Blair would of loved it, free booze, etc. Hell... He'd never leave! :)

I'm busy this weekend, otherwise I'd hang with you Blair. It's normally a good event. Of course the high dollar day is Sunday.

Lee... Lee... Lee... Oh Lee.

Just my opinion... ive never been a fan of paying for something i cant personally enjoy. I dont like paying to view car shows, there is more than enough money coming from vendors and concessions, you shouldnt have to pay to spectate on a car show. I feel the same way about darryl starbird...

The only reason I would like to go is that I looked at the cataloge and there was nothing there that I just couldn't live without (80's exotic, 34 Ford rod w/ Ford motor, etc). You find something you like and sometimes you loose your head (like a 2006 Ford GT).

Like Paul said, it's cool to see the cars, but not worth the dough you have to shell out. WTF

+1

I've watched Mecum and Barrett Jackson all spring. I've seen enough cars for awhile. I do like the show, just not into walking it this year and of course will are working saturday anyway.
