Was just saying. . . lol But I got her back today. Took it to the Ford place in Eufaula and I guess they just put tranny fluid in it. So guess I'll see how that works for now :(

pretty sure i suggested filling the tranny back up and fixing the over full engine oil. hope you didn't get robbed for advice you were given. oh which brings another question: when you added the fluid to the engine was it tranny fluid or engine oil. if it was tranny fluid i'd personally go buy enough for a few oil changes and drain, fill, run for about 30 min, drain, fill, run 30 min, drain, fill, and drive. maybe some would find that to be excesive, but that's just what i'd do

I don't know what they did. My parents took it to the Ford place & said they took care of it. I'm not the touching it again & I can't just afford everything.

Re: So guess what I did!
i would absolutely not give up on doing your own basic services like changing the oil. if it's something you want to do just have someone that knows show you what to do. show being the key word.

+1 on what Bob said. Everyone makes mistakes when first learning something new; don't use that as an excuse to never do any maintenance on your car again! Learn from someone who's been there and done it; believe me you'll save money in the long run doing it yourself versus continuing to pay for maintenance and repairs.

Ugh. I guess. It'll probably be while before I try something again. And plus I don't really have anyone to "show" me. I'm single, live on my own, & my family is an hour & a half away. I'm kind of an independent person. Lol! Maybe one of these days though.

This is all you need....detailed instructions with step by step pictures on how to change your oil. You should not have any trouble if you follow this to the T.
