New Member here!!
Hey Guys whats up? I have been looking fo a "Local Tulsa" mustang forum since I picked up my GT....Glad to have found one! I just recently piced up an 89 GT and absolutley love it. I was into the Honda thing for close to 7 years, I was always into muscle cars growing up but jsut kinda fell into the import scene in my early 20's. Put it this way...2 tail pipes are way better than 1!!! lol
The car came with a couple bolt on parts but nothing crazy. I had it on the dyno last week at Humble Performance( and i got tons of crap from my boys up there for going to a v8) I did a couple pulls and it made 222rwhp with 282lbs torque. Im thinking its not bad for qual length headers Gt40 intake and an H-pipe.
I will try and get some pics up soon, My roomate also drives a 2011 5.0 so you guys will probably be seing us around soon enough.

The GT40 heads will have 3 vertical bars on the end, while the P version had 4 bars

Depends on what vehicle your talking about?
GT40P Heads were the last design of the Iron Heads on the 5.0L Platform that came factory, they do require special headers since the spark plugs go in at a different angle and the factory springs will need to be changed if your looking to build a higher rpm engine.
I've read that they flow a little better than factory gt40 heads.
I think most gt40p heads were found on trucks...
stangnet.com, corral.net, and svtperformance.com are all good places to research everything you'll want to learn about these heads and what people have done with them.
