Mustang Parts For Sale

Post by Metric7 on July 2nd 2011, 3:01 pm

Since I sold my '05 I've got some surplus parts laying around:

1.) Roush lowering springs - now $65: http://www.boldmovestulsa.com/t2002-roush-rear-lowering-springs-for-s197-75

2.) OEM two-piece driveshaft - $35.

3.) Motorcraft FL-820S oil filters - I have 4 of these; $3.00/each.

4.) Micron FD05151P cabin air filters - I have 4 of these; $20.00/each. (That's my cost including shipping - you won't be able to get them any cheaper.)

Call or PM me if interested!

I'll take all the oil filters! One for each car. That will help out the oil change cost a little bit lol.

Nope, no fronts Lee. But with the money you'll save buying these rears you can afford the fronts!

how often should i worry about my cabin air filter. the car isn't driven daily, never is in inclement weather (rain), and is always stored in my garage. i know it's never been changed since i bought the car new.

Bob, its not a bad idea to change it. I changed mine at 30,000 miles on my 07' and it was nasty when I took it out. Car started to have a "smell" to it when I ran the air con, didnt smell as fresh as it used to. Sure enough when I changed my filter the smell was gone.

Sorry for the confusion, Bob - when I said $20 "including shipping", I meant that's what the filters cost me to get them shipped to my house. The $20 price is pick up from me; you probably could get one cheaper if you need one delivered outside of Tulsa.

If the Springs will fit the 2010 (i know i posted on the other link too) i'd take them and 2 cabin AF's. Need about a 1.5 in drop. Make a $ deal on the trio?

Here's the link to where I bought them, Jimmy - they don't appear to fit the 2010: http://www.dallasmustang.com/mustang-parts/product/SPRINGS-2005-2009-GT-COUPE---CONVERTIBLE-REAR-ROUSH/17178

http://www.stage3motorsports.com/product/401295/2005-2012-Mustang-GT-Roush-Rear-Coil-Springs.html Think maybe your website you bought from just hasn't updated? Looks the same underneath the 2010 as our 08 does......of course its 9 at night too. I'll take em either way. If nothing else I'll throw them on the 08! Whats the package deal on all 3? Can pick em up tomorrow if you want?

**Bump** - Only have the driveshaft and 2 cabin air filters left - I'll give you the driveshaft if you come and pick it up, and I'll sell both cabin filters for $35 - that's less than my cost in them and certainly less than you can buy them for at retail! Come on, people; let's go!! I sold the AVIC unit on eBay, BTW.

Filters did wonders for the smell/flow of the HVAC in the 08........and surprisingly the one in the 2010 was pretty bad too. Thanks David. Springs go in this weekend I hope.

if those springs are going from a v8 to a v6, your car might sit higher than what you want, bc they are stiffer for more weight. jus my .02

Just doing the back to level out the car a bit. Hers has 17's on it with a mid profile tire and its raked pretty hard, I think this will smooth the look out a bit. Still haven't had time to install.
