Rock Cafe Cruise

I know this is short notice... But wondering if anyone would be up for a Route 66 Cruise to have a lunch or dinner at the Rock Cafe in Stroud. We normally do this every year and it normally a really good time!

We'd do this coming Saturday. Give your thoughts!

I'm out, have a detail in the morning then birthday dinner for Tia that night. One of these years I will make it to the Rock Cafe

My thought is I'm in.

House shopping with the tsx club... About to make an offer and wife wants her dad to give his opinion first...

got my 10yr high school reunion that weekend....

Yup. Hes nixed 3 houses so far. Sad thing is he isnt helping pay for it!

When he shoots down the next one (and he probably will) just turn to him and ask, "So how much are you putting down?" When he says, "nothing." , turn to the real estate agent and say "We'll take it."

Yeah, but if he doesn't approve, it will be "I told you so" until the day you move out of it. Which if that happens, the day you move out will be shortly after the day you move in.

So? If you let him think he can decide everything now.... he'll do it forever. Giving advice is one thing... flat out saying No you can't do something... that would piss me off.

Maybe I'm just too damm independent.

That would be priceless. Brittany and I didnt even tell anybody when we were house shopping. We found what we wanted, signed the papers and then told our families afterwards.

very true. Yea it's funny because she gets mad if I talk to my parents about the house plans because my mom is against the house and thinks we should wait for a few more years. but then her dad gives opinion and she follows suit.

Surprisingly, the house next door is for sale.

I tried... she said no... told her we could save close to $1000 a month extra if we moved back in with them...

My thoughts exactly jarrod. Yes paul, we lived with him when we first got married. He is rarely home due to his job and the military, so it was like having our own place rent free. Planned to stay there until we got a good downpayment together, but a riot with her sister caused us to leave pretty quick.

Been throwing away 700 a month and ready to step up.

Why would anyone get married if you can't afford your own place? Sorry just never got that. There is no hurry man. It's not a race.

Youngins... High school graduation does not mean you have to get married. Instead, go to college, establish your career, then decide to share it with someone special.
