Talimena Scenic Drive

I was fortunate to have to drive to talahina today and I was impressed with the scenery in and around the ouichita natl forest. This would be a pretty nice day drive.

I done this numerous times over the years. Wonderful drive. The SE corner of OK is very very nice. Broken Bow lake is stellar as well.

made this run last fall when the leaves where turning colors.on the way home catch hwy 59 and head toward heavener and stop at Runestone state park.
