2011 Fall Cruise Oct 21nd thru the 23th

The loose agenda thus far.... Leave Tulsa on Friday and return Sunday. We'll be heading to Eureka Springs.

OU home game against Tech on that Saturday. Have to consult with She Who Must Be Obeyed who is a fanatical OU fan. What happened to Talimena?

High tailing it to Florida on the 21st for a 2 week stay. I somehow seem to always miss the Fall cruise.

We will do talimina dr. as soon as the colors are in full bloom this fall. Will probably be impromptu since it's anyones guess how small the window will be due to the drought this year. But who knows the colors may be perfect for the fall cruise to eureka. And I will be watching/listening to the OU game from the hotel room or radio or I'll DVR it and watch it when we get home. I'm a huge fan too but won't miss the fall cruise for it.

Hmm will have to think on this one. Just went to Eureka last weekend and the wife didn't like it...

I'd be up for that. And OSU is playing @ Missouri, so like David I can listen on the radio or watch it on TV.

Definitely going!! The Eureka Cruise is awesome! Line of mustang going through the twisties ending in the small town of Eureka springs! We will most likely visit the Haunted Crecent Hotel and see if we can spot some ghosts!

The hotel stay can be a blast...chance to hang out and just relax with fellow mustang enthusiasts.

Look forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones.

Ghosts? Trish is definitely out, LOL. Too bad it's not the weekend of Oct. 2nd, she will be in Dallas.

I love ghost stuff, it intrigues me. But trish can't stand it. It's hard enough for her to watch Jennifer Love Hewitt in Ghost Whisperer, let alone Ghost Adventures or anything like that.

Her grandma and I are planning to make a trip down to Bobby Mackey's the next time they have a night tour of it. So much crap supposed to happen there, I want to see it for myself.

We done this a couple of times. Fun stuff!

OK. you all convinced me. I'm in for the cruise. I went out and bought an ipod nano and uploaded 173 of the greatest rock songs of all time. During the cruise I will roll down the windows. crank up the Shaker 1000 and have a blast.

We still need to finalize the hotel in Eureka Springs, The Crecent is booked up due to the Halloween ghost connection every year.

We did not like the hotel we stayed at last time we were there, so if anyone has any suggestions on hotels they liked when they were there please let us know.
