New member from of all places,
Nebraska
Hello, everyone I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I am from Nebraska and heard about your website through a mutual friend of one of your senior members (Jerrod). This is a good-looking site and I have found some valuable information on it in the short time I have looked. I just wish I were a little closer to participate in some of the activities. I have not found an active group in my area yet so if any on knows of one in the Omaha area let me know.
A little bit about me, I purchased a 2011 5.0 GT premium with a 6-speed, 3:73 and the Brembo brake package after selling a 55 Chevy I had restored. I have had a few cars in my toy collection, mostly old cars from the 50’s and 60’s with a few Harleys and sport bikes mixed in. I have never owned a hot rod with a computer or fuel injection, so it will be a little bit of a learning curve buying the right parts and finding a tuner in my area. So far, the car has been great and is a blast to drive and the wife likes driving it better than my old iron. Have a great day and keep it shinny side up!

Re: New member from of all places,
This is the only picture I have at work taken the day we got it in March, a very cold and cloudy day but I was smiling.
I miss the old nova. That one was a Blown 406 with aluminum heads, 2 4’s and a 400 trans, with 18.5 wide tires. Ran real well.

Re: New member from of all places,
Bill,
Glad you made it on here and good talking to you earlier. No problem on dropping my call, I heard the word mountains and then it went dead....I put 2 and 2 together.
Post some pictures of the ride up when you get a chance, would love to see it.
Any big plans for it?

Re: New member from of all places,
Hey Bill, here is that link I was talking about. Van at Revan Racing is definitely someone I would talk to for questions about your car. Guy is great about answering his phone and one of the most knowledgable car guys around.
