Yes also got woke up. Felt like I was on a vibrating bed lasted about 5-7 seconds!!!!

Nothing out here in Oologah, at least not strong enough to wake me up. We miss all the fun stuff out here.

my wife's sister lives in ponca city and the felt it.

me and my friend were playing battle field 3. was at the earthquake scene in the game. thought it was part of the game hahahaha....we had it turned up LOUD

I told you fluffer was playing video games last night and stayed up too late. Way to go fluffer, couldn't even come out and show support by sleeping in a chair.

just felt another one here in Coffeyville at 10:50 ish pm. OSU game just got over and the windows started rattling. i ran and got the shotgun thinking someone was trying to break in and KTUL reported it live on the air. pretty crazy...

Just had something going on out here. I could literaly feel and see the floor moving. I ran over to cover the wifes stomach as she laid in the recliner. WTF is going on around here?

They are now saying it was a 5.6

Could be higher than a 5.6 by the morning. They are still assessing the data

They always shoot low and then do a revise. Sometime it's less but normally it more.

I was wondering if it was gonna stop...

What was weird is I heard it coming in. I was laying on the couch watching the news story on the Saturday morning earthquake. I could hear what sounded like a pack of helicopters flying low coming my direction. I didn't think anything of the sound because it happens often and they have been by before at low altiudes at night. Then all of a sudden the walls and windows started shaking and vibrating and rumbling. I yelled out earthquake and Tia runs in from the kitchen. She tells me to get up off the couch out from under the pictures. I instinctivley get up and stand in the doorway between my living room and hallway. All of a sudden I felt pretty helpless. There was nothing I could do to stop it. While for a second it was pretty cool, I think I would rather just sleep through the little ones. I can't imagine what a 6. or even a 7. might feel like.

growing up in so cal im use to this. like jerry i heard it coming. i had the water running in the bathroom. heard it turned the water off and just smiled. this was my first decent one in an okie built house. its amazing the wood "cracking" sound that we had. ive been thru several over 6.0 and never has that happend. but again its a whole new animal when you look at building codes in so cal. all and all it was a good time. wife freeked out but it was like the good old days.....

again like jerry said he did, and i told the wife. when you grow up in so cal they beat it in your head, to stand in the door way. hopefully we wont have any around here that will be bad enough for us to need to use that advice
