Interesting news from the city of Owasso:

The City of Owasso and the Owasso Chamber of Commerce will announce a partnership with two local investors, tomorrow, Friday, November 18 at the Tulsa Raceway Park.
The media announcement will happen on the race track at 12:00 PM. Investors will be present for comments and questions following the event.

Maybe owasso is starting a race legal program... you know bad those hondas are running around town trying to race everyone...

rumors i have heard is that there is a guy in the owasso/collinsville area that is going to be building a track starting next spring. cant remember his name but he is into the racing scene. supposedly they need to keep the current track open for another 3 years because of the nhra license.

Looks like it was just the announcement that the drag strip has been leased and will continue operation... old news... but still good news that it's "official"
