I would still rather drive a Dodge truck any day of the week. Sorry, just not a fan of Ford Trucks.

this really is a pretty amazing engine they have produced. wish i were looking for a new vehicle, but considering we just paid off the wifes expedition we won't be looking for a few more years.

I have never seen one perform in real life the way they do on your you tube clip. Sorry I prefer the Hemi in my truck over your new "EcoBoost". Really eco boost rice? Are they trying to win them over with the name?

I also love how they keep saying the weight of the logs as if it changes the fact that 110,000lbs/22logs = 5k lbs each. Wow I bet my buddies Toyota can do that. I am also intrigued at their ability to put a max load behind the truck and not get any sag at all. I bet they didn't rig that either did they totalcrap?

Look don't be mad that I prefer dodge trucks. They just make a stronger truck.

Man how did I know this would stir the pot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You need to drive a Ford F150 for a week, I mean really drive it. Dodge is slightly behind Ford in performance and quality and DEFINITELY behind in their offerings in my humble opinion. For has 4 different engine options in their lineup to choose from.

I also highly doubt the Ecoboost torture test was rigged, Ford wouldnt risk exposure. It would be too easy for another competitor to test their vehicle against the Ecoboost and disprove it. No one has disproven the results and its been over a year.

Not saying that dodge and the Hemi are not good vehicles, they just are not up to the level of what Ford has brought to the market in my opinion. The proof is in the quality and performance.

Since you posted a video of a possibly modded dodge (the results didnt add up, tailgate removed makes me think hes messed with the performance a bit) vs what looked like a stock Ford...here are some real world videos I found. lol!

But on a side note...Dodges turbo diesels are pretty quick beerdrink

Hey now lets not make fun of Truck people! I do really like the SRT8 cherokee, the Hemi has transformed a lot of these everyday cruisers into some screamers!

I have driven the Ford F-150 numerous times and just dont like the truck. The interior is awkward to me and the truck just seems to lack performance. The new EcoBoost may be a nice truck but testing it on a machine is not the same as putting 150,000 driven miles on it. We could go back and forth and find videos to show a Chevy beating both of them if we want. Ultimately it comes down to personal preference. I prefer Dodge trucks and Ford cars. Don't know why, gonna go with my Polish heritage again.

Im gong to stick with the theory of the only replacement for displacement is boost. I think that holds true here with the ecoboost. I will say ford lacks performance in their factory tuning on the trucks. The drive by wire throttle response is a little lack luster in its performance. The truck could use some tuning to livin up the throttle. Other than that I have owned 4 fords, and a chevy (trucks that is). I prefer the ford over the chevy any day. I haven't owned a dodge yet, but I might here soon. I have been in a few new ones and they have come a long way in fit and finish, refinement and amenities. They all have their pros and cons. If we had it Obamas way we would all be drving smart cars. Since we still have a freedom to choose what we drive, I say drive what ever you are willing to pay for and be happy with. My two cents, back to bed before the baby wakes up.

Flex awd ecoboost 6 cyl, edge has ecoboost 4 cyl, explorer has ecoboost 4 cyl also. The flex ecoboost hauls balls, pretty fast for something like that.
