I am not sure...
Dudes,
I am going to need some help getting into the mustang realm again. I know nothing about carburetor motors. I am wanting either a 68-69 mustang chassis or a 99-04 chassis. Should I go with a carb 306 with full dressing or dress up an existing 99-04 stang and motor? Thoughts??? I am on a tight budget. 10K possibly.

I think you would have a good start in a new edge 99-04 GT car. For your 10K budget I'm sure you can get the car and perform quite a few mods that would increase the fun factor quite a bit. I too would live to get a 68-69 fast back but the car alone is big money. The amount of restoration and money you'd need to invest just to make it fun is astounding.
