Speaking as a Baby Boomer, I can say that I support the advances in modern automotive technology. Today's mustangs have more power, better brakes, steering and handling. And today's sound systems are infinitely better than the older models. A lot of boomers will argue that they prefer the styling of the mustangs from the muscle car era of the mid 60's to early 70's, but I actually appreciate the modern styling. See, you can teach an old dog new tricks. The only thing I don't like is paying $60k+ for a mustang. But I guess you get what you pay for.

Ya... they were talking about this in the WSJ yesterday. Just have to wait and see I guess. The car will no doubt be a performer. But will it look good?

I would also very much expect a IRS (finally) to become the norm.

I'm all for advances in technology and performance but the styling is what has me a little bit nervous. I guess we'll have to wait and see...

Don't like it. Keep more of the styling of the mustang in it.

Im going to hold judgement. Love technology and times change, I may or may not change with it. Glad I bought my '10 when I did

They just don't learn do they? Think Mustang II and when they were going to replace it with a high performace Probe. If they don't head towards a Corvette or Lambo, it will blow up in their face.

That's a bad ass looking ride. Looks very Aston Martin ish. That said if I were a ford design rep if redo the rear (looks way too cossover-ish) or make it a 4door with the shelby 500 drive train and compete with the 4 door supercars. I'd drop some coin on that.

For a mustang not so much. I have talked to Barrett a while back. He's telling me that front end is what ford is basing mist of their cars on.

Does for still own Aston?

New fusion...front end look familliar
