Tech Day at BHF - Nov 8th at 2:00pm
Join us for a tech day hosted by Randy Pierce of Bob Hurley Ford. We will have access to lift, etc. We will need to bring our own tools however. Refreshments will be provided. The events kicks off at 2pm.
This will be the last Tech Day this year.... Please let me know if you have work that needs to be done to your ride.

I just have a small rattle from two of my exhaust hangers. I don't trust my jacks or stands enough to get under my car and do it.

I would like to drive down from OKC and attend this event if possible? Is it to big of a job to do 4.10 gears. I am not mechanically enclined so I would have to have some serious help. I would be more than happy to bring food, refreshments or anything else needed.
Does anyone need a shaker 500 system from a stock GT?

Re: Tech Day at BHF - Nov 8th at 2:00pm
The 4:10 gear might be hard. With gears, it REALLY pays to have someone that has a lot of experience installing them. I'll do about anything to my car, but I let a pro do the gears. Too easy to screw up. 99% of us had Benji up at Bob Hurley do ours. He does it off hours and only charges $200. Not bad at all...

Yeah thats what I was afraid of. I dont what I can buy to put on but I guess I look into some suspension parts or something in time for the SC.

Kevin...you might give benji a call at Bob Hurley and see if he would stop by the tech day to install your gears? That would be fun to watch too!! He does the installs off hours anyways...maybe it wouldnt be too much for him to stop in and help you out

Hey Kevin...with you getting that supercharger Im not sure you will be wanting those 4.10 gears? Im not positive on this but I think they are going to be way to short for you.
What current gears do you have?
3.73 might be the ticket for you...or if your ride didnt come with them 3.55.

Re: Tech Day at BHF - Nov 8th at 2:00pm
Hey Grabber, I spoke with Benji and it sounded like he could work me in on Nov 8th. He recommended that I go with 4.10's since I have 20 inch rims. I clarified the point and stated that I was getting the SC. I am excited to say the least. I am going to order the Ford Racing M-4209-G410A 8.8" 4.10 Ring Pinion Gears. From what I can tell there COULD be issues with the Motive version of the ford racing gears so I will steer clear of those.
Thinking about ordering these today.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford-Racing-M-4209-G410A-8-8-4-10-Ring-Pinion-Gears_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ39Q3a1Q7c66Q3a3Q7c65Q3a7Q7c240Q3a1318QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem270276870957QQitemZ270276870957#ht_1805wt_0
So $150.00 for these gears
$200.00 for labor
$50.00 for misc parts like Shims and oil
What is the membership cost for Bold Moves and is it to late to get a shirt? I love when a plan comes together.
