JUST ORDERED MY XM box

There was a Circuit City going out of business having a sale...got the Box and 3 months subscription for $40 new...thought that was a good deal and couldnt pass it up.

Does anyone else have XM? If so..how do you like it? Is it worth the $10 a month? What stations do you listen to? Anything to watch out for?

I had sirus when I got my car 6 months free it was good but I just have a hard time paying for radio when all my life its been free. I was thinking of turning it back on I like the 80's channel.

There is a little more variety to choose from on XM. The stations here have the same music over and over. If you want something different then you will like XM. If you want to stay mainstream, and thats it, well they have that too, but no need to pay for it.

I had sirius for a while in the truck and at work. Got to the point were I was listening to the same songs over and over again, kind of like free radio. Could not really see myself paying for it.

But I do have a buddy up at work that pays 7.00 a year for his XM subscription, because he cancels at the end of the year when his promotion is over and starts all over again.

Ill try it out for a few months and see how I like it. I like the comedy channel....good stuff!

I thought about getting it too, but free bittorrent wins everytime.

I think the comedy channel is all my dad listens to with his.
