MagnaFlow Exhaust

Post by 05gtnolan on December 31st 2008, 12:32 pm

I just got 12" resonators put on my car with the rest stock and was looking into having the local shop make me an X pipe and was wanting mufflers but i was going to see if you guys had any input on what i should get, if i want it to sound badass but also still be able to take trips in it without going deaf.lol. I really like MagnaFlow on our other vehicles but ive nvr heard it on a mustang, and i went to the website and listened but that does it no justice. So if you guys have any suggestions or input let me know. Also im still trying to sell my 17" goodyear eagle gt tires brand new or trade for 18" tires. Pics upon request. thanks guys

Dude, I love my flowmasters. You can take a quick ride in it if you think the cabin is too loud or not. Magnaflow do sound very good. My brother has my same setup but with borlas and it sounds good. Quieter than mine but still sounds good. You might want to hit him up for a test run too.

My Borlas sound pretty good with my off road x and resonators...Flows sound good as well.

Also depends on what your willing to spend. Borlas arent cheap

Yeah. I think for the resonators, xpipe, and borlas Uncle Banjo paid 395. Not bad for a local muffler shop. Quality work as well.

honestly, id buy a bolt up x pipe. you buy a high quality, bolt up, pre-made pipe for around the same price as having one made. plus, usually they are higher quality. thats my 2 cents.
