Black out mods

Post by 05gtnolan on January 4th 2009, 1:26 am

I have had the headlight, fog light, and tail light smoked covers for my car, and the fog light covers are great, the tail lights are great as long as you place the velcro and the 3m tape right, but the head light covers are HORRIBLE!!! You have to get brighter bulbs if you keep them on cuz it makes your lights incredibly dim. I 3m taped the shit out of them, and if i would go very fast like 90-100mph then they would loose and hanging or something. They are always just a very frustrating item, and the fog light covers and tail light covers are still on, but my head light covers pretty much just stay in the back seat or at the house, unless im takin pics or just wanna be completely murdered out. So just a little heads up

I actually just bought entire turn signals and for both of them shipped and everything, it was 47.99 which was pretty cheap. The third brake light has a MUSTANG GT sticker over it and its black so it pretty much looks blacked out. O BTW would you guys recommend me getn the tint for headlights or buy the entire headlights? Theyre 149 for both headlights with xenon bulbs or Halo bulbs im not sure and the taillights are 179 for both, and ill just leave the fog lights cuz they look good. O also if anyone knows where i can get a tuner and CAI combo for cheap then let me know, cuz im looking to get one within the next 2 weeks and ive found 599 is the lowest so far.

the tint will cost you less than 30 bucks to do everything yourself for all of your lights front and back. it will look much better also

eh, not so sure about the tint sometimes. less chance of easy reversal if you change your mind ya know. it looks cleaner, and ive thought about doing it, but still not sure.
