help with livewire

I got a Livewire tuner today and me and joshua worked on it for hours and downloaded the new versions and everything and we get to the end and up top it says Unlock ECU and it says turn key to on but do not start and it will not go any farther than that! Very frustrated! would appreciate any help!

Up top in bold it says "Unlock ECU" and in the middle of the screen it says. Turn Key On Do not Start Vehicle

It is supposed to upload the tune from there but just sits there on that screen with the "Alert" and "Power" LEDs lit up.

Is this unit USED? or NEW?

I sounds like it's locked....

Its brand new, i bought it from KBcal. The married status on it even says unlocked. Now when i start my car everything is blank including the gauge needles wont even move for about 30 seconds then the lights and gauges start working again. Its weird but i just really want to just simply tune my damn car cuz i worked my ass off to get this. lol

I would give Greg a call today and ask his opinion. Sounds like something is a miss. But then again Im not used to using a livewire unit. Might be something simple that needs to be done
