Wrecked the car tonight Damn Damn Damn Damn

Post by pony74055 on January 21st 2009, 8:33 pm

I was meeting the family at Napolies off 76th St and went to pull up to the store and wham a loud thud. What the hell was that I thought. Well the way they angled the asphalt away from the cement side walk it tapers away at a funny angle. You think the there is a 1" curb when it is really 4" seriously. I tore the whole front spoiler off and when I went in my wife showed up later and parked next to me I was showing her and looked over and her new F-150's lower air dam cleared by 1/2" and she thought it was no where near that close when she pulled up so it wasn't just me. So I am mad at myself right

I feel your pain, George! But it's just plastic and paint - it can be fixed. Maybe this is your sign to get a new front-end look?

Ok if I take a small loss on the struts and shocks will you all buy them? So I can order the Roush front end?? Remember my mod money is in those. For BMMC only I would do $50.00 that is 12.50 a corner and I'll eat the freight. Come on guys you can do it save my ass before my wife kills me. She says if I spend any of "our money" on the car she is going shopping I can not afford that she will spend us broke to prove a point. I figured 850.00 for the front painted from Roush so 500.00 from the struts plus 300.00 I have hidden plus 50.00 from David for brakes I bought him and I am golden like a shower. Like Obama said Yes WE Can!!! Damn I'm Republican so how about a bailout?

My exhaust pipes and griggs torque are come seriously close to the ground. Not fun when your doing 50mph and hear them scrape a raised piece of asphalt.

Yeah I know the pain of damaging the front bumper. I drilled a curb and busted my front bumper, destroyed an 8k paint job and popped two Nitto tires. I even went back and looked at the spot I hit only to realized that it was some really bad driving on my part to cut it that close.

Oh the package from Shelby came in so come and get it floor mats 25.00 first come first served and the now infamous struts and shocks 40.00 a set. Call if your comming by 272-5089.
